"The Big Local Give" is taking place Wednesday December 9, 2009 from noon to 1 PM live on the air on WPRK 91.5 and online at wprkdj.org. The co-hosts of Front Porch Radio (Julie Norris, Owner & Proprietor of Dandelion Communitea Cafe and Jeremy Seghers, local arts advocate) will feature some of their favorite local restaurants, music, shops & more and will give listeners a chance to win merchandise from these local hotspots. Since not all of the giveaways will take place on air, follow FPR on Twitter and become a fan of the show on Facebook for additional specials & surprises. Winners will be able to claim their goodies at a special party at Dandelion Communitea Cafe on December 17th from 7 to 10 PM. Participating Local Vendors Include Ethos Vegan Kitchen, Park Ave CDs, Sim.bliss.ity, Enzian Theater, Dandelion Communitea Cafe and Mother Falcon.
